The Holiday Brunch at the Inn at Ole Miss Ballroom was well-attended and we had great food catered by Taylor Grocery Special Events Catering. Here are some snapshots of the event.

Fall Foliage Tour, Washington D.C. and Gettysburg
Spent six nights visiting the nation’s capital, Gettysburg and other famous sights in northern Virginia. This is a trip of a lifetime that runs Oct. 28 through Nov. 3. Single room cost is $1,605. Double is $1,130. Triple is $975. Quad is $895. Deposit of $150 due Aug. 30. Final payment due Oct. 4. Breakfast included daily as well as four dinners and one lunch. Travel in style on a luxury motorcoach complete with a bathroom and satellite TV. Registration can be complete at oxfordparkcommission.com or at the activity centers.
Director of Facilities Planning and University Architect Ian Banner was the guest presenter in the Ole Miss Ballroom on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Interim Chancellor and Mrs. Larry Sparks invited all retired faculty, staff, and guests to Dinner, Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. in the Gertrude C. Ford Ballroom at The Inn at Ole Miss.
The PERS Executive Director, Ray Higgins, was part of the March presentation for retirees and their spouses on March 19, 2019.
The annual Holiday Brunch was held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the Jackson Avenue Center. The event was catered by My Michelle’s, and retirees and their spouses were invited.
A panel presentation about age-related issues was held at 10:30 a.m. on October 23, 2018 at the Inn at Ole Miss in the Ballroom. The program, entitled “Dementia, Resources, Caring for Older Parents, Long-term Living Arrangements in Oxford, and End of Life and Hospice Care Information,” featured Dr. Jo Ann O’Quin, Professor Emerita of Social Work.
The Chancellor and Mrs. Vitter invited all the retired faculty, staff, and guests to dinner in the Gertrude C. Ford Ballroom on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
This year’s Holiday Brunch was held on December 8th at the Jackson Avenue Center.
Noel Wilkins, University Provost, presented a very informative update about all the wonderful things that are happening around campus.

On August 30, The Inn at Ole Miss was the setting for a panel discussion featuring PERS Executive Director Mrs. Pat Robertson, Mississippi Senator Gray Tollison, and Mississippi Representative Jay Hughes.

The December 12, 2015, Holiday Potluck was held at 11:00 a.m. in the Jackson Avenue Center. The guest speaker was Dr. Morris Stocks, Interim Chancellor.
In September the Ole Miss Retirees toured the J.D. Williams Library.
